Arts Administration Course this Winter term - Don't miss it

Arts and culture organizations form an important backbone to civic life. Arts organizations of all sizes and shapes work in the Portland area bringing us experiences that confront our assumptions and enrich our lives. But like any nonprofit organization, arts organizations are challenged to run effectively to deliver programs and achieve missions. 

"Arts Administration"  is being offered next term (Tuesdays 4-6:30pm, Jan 5 thru March 16) at Portland State University. This course gives students the tools and information to effectively manage an arts organization.  Join Tricia Snell, MFA, adjunct faculty, and Executive Director of Caldera in a lively exploration of the issues, challenges, and responses in running an arts or culture organization. A variety of guests, field trips, and hands-on project experiences will be included in course activities. Course may be taken for credit or noncredit.
