InFARMation (and Beer!) Tuesday Dec 8th: A Celebration!

I've been told that it's the season of giving.  Well, your time is one of the most precious things you have to share, and we have some great ideas as to where you can make a difference.  After a full year of InFARMations (and Beer!) - our first was January 2009 - we thought we'd showcase some of the other great but small non-profits in the area who are working on food and farm issues of one sort or another.  Around a dozen different groups will be set up at InFARMation with information and materials, and specific volunteer opportunities that you can sign up for.  It's a great opportunity to personally take steps to help change the food system, in addition to all the concientious consumerism that you practice. AND, we want to harvest your insights from this past year.  Who were the speakers that really got to you, and what changes or actions did they prompt?  What topics would you like to learn more about in 2010?  You'll have the opportunity to speak to the room about it, or just leave us a note. AND, we want to celebrate!  Organic beers are $2.50 all night thanks to Roots, and the Water Tower Bucket Boys will be bringing some great live music to round out the evening.InFARMation (and Beer!) runs from 5:30-8:30, and we will start with the speakers between 6 & 6:30 this time, so come early, stay late.  Admission is always free.
