Honor Genny Nelson and Celebrate Her Retirement from Sisters Of The Road

Please join us as we celebrate and give thanks for the vision and work of Genny Nelson, co-founder of Sisters Of The Road, and honor her retirement. We are celebrating Saturday, December 12th from 3pm - 6pm in the Cafe and Personalist Center, 133 NW 6th Ave, Portland.

Genny has won numerous awards, including the 2005 National Caring Award, which honors and promotes the values of caring, integrity, and public service inspired by Mother Teresa. More importantly, Genny has been a personal friend and mentor to thousands, including public leaders, school children and Sisters’ staff, volunteers & customers, encouraging us to use nonviolence as a guiding light in our lives and our work to change the broken world.

Light refreshments will be served; no RSVP required. We hope you can make it!
