CAREER CONNECTIONS HEALTHCARE TRAINING 2010 Is looking for Motivated Portland Young Adults, Ages 18-24 years old

The FREE Healthcare Pathway is also a great entry point for participants who plan on pursuing a job and/or short-term training in medical careers such as Certified Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, Medical Receptionist, Medical Coding and Billing, and caregiving. We can also be a resource to obtaining funding for advanced training and college.

The training is also a great opportunity for trained/certified healthcare professionals to get their foot in the door, network, and land their first professional healthcare position.

Free 1-year program that emphasizes career advising & long-term advocacy, to support you in landing an entry level career in HEALTHCARE! If you are ready to commit to yourself and your goals, then so are we!

Start with a challenging 5 week long training, where you will increase confidence, motivation and hope, while discovering your personal strengths, exploring career options, learning effective career development skills, networking with local professionals, and becoming a MORE COMPETITIVE job-seeker.

Upon training completion, you will receive mentoring, college support and access to exclusive internships with our professional partners. We have extensive employer relationships in healthcare that can help to jumpstart your career! All of our services are tailored to your interests and goals.

During training you will receive support for transportation and professional clothing. Upon completion of the training and internships you receive a financial incentive stipend.
