Nonprofit Cafe seeks Kitchen Prep and Floor Manager

Sisters Of The Road is hiring a Kitchen Prep / Floor Manager Position

Sisters Of The Road’s purpose is to build authentic relationships within the philosophies of nonviolence and gentle personalism. All candidates must be committed to these philosophies.

The Kitchen Prep / Floor Manager models the philosophy of nonviolence, gentle personalism and community organizing. Provides hospitality and interrupts violence and inappropriate behaviors in the Cafe. Recruits, trains and supervises barter workers and volunteers. In conjunction with the Kitchen Team, helps produce daily meals under the supervision of the Kitchen Co-managers. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Cafe as prescribed by all county, state and federal health and safety standards.

Desired skills/experience includes basic cooking skills, ability to supervise & work with a diverse staff and customer base, computer skills and understanding of health and safety practices.

Salary: $13.95 per hour, 25 hour week with health, dental, vacation and sick leave benefits.
