International Center for Traditional Childbearing Kwanzaa Celebration

The International Center for Traditional Childbearing (ICTC) invites Portland's non-profit community to celebrate Ujamaa, the fourth day of Kwanzaa, on Tuesday, December 29th from 6-8pm at the International Center for Traditional Childbearing (ICTC) located at 2823 North Rosa Parks Way.

We will celebrate the African American culture with an explanation of the Kwanzaa Holiday, by Shafia Monroe, food, ceremony and African Music.

There will be activities for the children and free books provided by The Children’s Book Bank.

All are Welcome! This is a great networking opportunity and food will be provided. Come learn about ICTC, your local family resource.

Where: At Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2823 North Rosa Parks Way, in the activity room.

When: Tuesday, December 29th 2009, 6pm -8pm.

Admission is free but holiday donations to ICTC are encouraged.

ICTC is a diverse non-profit organization that promotes healthy birth outcomes, provides prenatal and postpartum support through African Midwifery knowledge, in an effort to reduce infant mortality.
