Trillium Family Services offers a rare opportunity for a dynamic individual with clinical knowledge and project management expertise to assume the position of Director of Services for an Autism Program.

Responsibilities for the Director of Services include project development; implementation and coordination; community relations and fund development of the Autism Programs and Services. This position offers insight regarding a marketing plan and developing key supporters and constituents; coordinates the project with clinical directors to determine program model, populations served and developing curriculum; acts as spokesperson for project, developing a message platform and advisory board; responsible for donor development, grants and foundations and major gifts; works collaboratively with the Finance, Development and Clinical teams; serves as a critical two-way communication link between Trillium Family Services management and treatment and direct care staff. Job is demanding with frequent deadlines, meetings and interruptions. Assists in the preparation and compliance with program budget and project cost for Autism School, development of program and service fees, funding sources and infrastructure needs. Partially accountable for control of capital assets and long-range operational and strategic planning. Responsible for developing program policies and procedures. Major program services decisions are made continuously, usually with input from others.

Salary / Pay Rate:Commensurate with experience
Required Skills and Abilities:Requires experience and knowledge of autism and autism spectrum disorders. Also requires experience in foundation relations, Board development and community engagement. Experience with fund raising, major gifts and social service programs are extremely helpful.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a field such as Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, etc., or a combination of college studies in these areas with experience in public relations/direct fund raising.
