Special Education Coordinator - Our small, private, non-profit, relationship-based alternative school for students in 6th – 10th grades has an opening for a part-time Special Education Coordinator to write/monitor IEPs and provide push-in services to students classified as LD, ED, Asperger’s and OHI (for ADD/HD).  Many students come from dysfunctional homes or other at-risk situations and have been referred by area districts because they have not been successful in larger, public programs.  This position is 25 hours per week and requires a valid Oregon Teaching Certificate with Basic Handicapped Learners’ Endorsement (or similar license from another state and ability to transfer license to Oregon).
