re:Disability Art and Culture Project Seeking Volunteer Web Designer

Disability Art and Culture Project (DACP) are currently seeking a volunteer to rethink our current website. We need a designer who has knowledge about how to make a web page easy to update and willing to teach us to add links, update content, change graphics and add resource pages. Our goal is to make DACP’s website brandable.  We want our website to be easy to navigate, our design aesthetically appealing, and accessible for all.

Who would be a good fit for this project?

We would like a designer who feels compelled by our mission and would like to take this project on as a challenging portfolio piece.  The new DACP website would represent the spirit of our organization and be designed to be both functional and unique to the designer that worked on it. We feel that this experience would be enriching for any designer whether an up and coming art student or a practicing professional.

What we have currently:

You may visit our web site at http://www.dacphome.org currently we use text pattern for updating. Unfortunately, we find this interface difficult to work with, but are still open to using it with the guidance of a dedicated volunteer.
