Temporary Program Coordinator – Lynch View Elementary School - Full Time

Metropolitan Family Service seeks an experienced Temporary Program Coordinator for our school communities program at Lynch View Elementary School. The position is 40 hours/week and will be providing coverage during a maternity leave. The position is scheduled from February 15, 2010 – June 1, 2010 (ending date is subject to change). Requires minimum of two years experience in program development, supervision and program administration/budgeting. Prefer experience in child development and/or background in school based service delivery. Experience with elementary school student academic and/or recreational programs is strongly preferred . Minimum of a BA or BS in human service related field such as education, recreation or social work. MSW preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Experience recruiting, hiring and supervising paid and volunteer staff is essential. Bi-lingual, bi-literate in Spanish is beneficial. Job #TPC0105.
