Harvey Scott SUN needs You!!

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of the children living in our community? Want to help a 1st grader learn to play soccer or a 3rd grader with spelling words?

Yes?! Then please consider volunteering with the Schools Uniting Neighborhoods (SUN) after school program at Harvey Scott K8 in NE Portland. Harvey Scott SUN Community School is housed in a vibrant and diverse school community. Volunteers help support our teaching staff in fun and engaging enrichment classes such as Cooking 101, Multi-Media Journaling, Woodshop and Soccer. We also need volunteers to tutor in Homework Clubs & Study Hall. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience working in education.

All volunteers complete an Interview and Background Check before they begin their volunteer service.
