Come to an Upcoming AmeriCorps Informational Meeting!

Come to an upcoming AmeriCorps Informational Meeting!

You will learn:

- Why hosting an AmeriCorps or AmeriCorps*VISTA member is beneficial to an organization.

- What types of service AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps*VISTA members perform.

- The differences between AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps*VISTA.

- How to apply to be a host site.

AmeriCorps is a national service program that places stipended volunteers called “members” in local communities.  In Oregon, we have many different AmeriCorps programs providing opportunities for agencies, nonprofits and schools to receive a member.  These meetings are focusing specifically on two programs: the Oregon State Service Corps (OSSC) and the Clara Barton VISTA Corps (CBVC).  We will share application information, calendars and answer questions.  Please join us and learn how your agency can host an AmeriCorps or AmeriCorps*VISTA member to address specific needs in your community.
