**Homelessness Forum** Sunday, Jan. 10th @12 PM First United Methodist Church, 1838 Southwest Jefferson Street,

On January 10, the Church & Society Committee at FUMC will be hosting a forum on homelessness in the Fireside room at 12:00 p.m.

The forum will feature speakers who can offer three distinct angles on the issue:

- A representative from the City of Portland will talk about the history of the 10 Year Plan to end homelessness and their progress so far.

- An individual from Sisters of the Road who has experienced homelessness will share their story and,

- A representative from the Goose Hollow Family Shelter working with Portland's homeless community will talk about volunteer and advocacy opportunities.

Following the speakers there will be a short discussion on First Church's role and an opportunity to ask questions. All are welcome.

A light lunch will be provided.
