position summary:

This is a 32-hour position with benefits. This position manages and coordinates crisis line workers who staff a statewide, 24 hour, crisis line. Responsibilities: • Train, supervise and evaluate volunteers • Provide crisis intervention, referrals and information to callers • Conduct one on one and group trainings of volunteers • Maintain current information on relevant resources in CL database • Answer incoming calls with compassion and respect • Provide crisis intervention, referrals and information to callers • Attend staff meetings • Plan and coordinate group recognition events • Flexibility to accept other duties as assigned

Salary / Pay Rate:DOE
Qualifications:• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field required. • Crisis intervention experience required. • Ability to supervise and provide feedback • Excellent training skills and abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in MS Office 2003 • Dependable • Good organizational skills • Ability to listen with compassion and respect This position requires: compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, flexibility, versatility; ability to take direction, work without intense supervision and operate as a team player.
