KBOO Community Radio seeks New Board Member

KBOO Community Radio is interested in appointing one individual to serve on the KBOO Board of Directors. This appointment will be until September 30, 2010. We are particularly interested in applicants who would be able to serve as Secretary to the Board.

An ideal person to fill this position would have excellent organization and note taking skills. This person would be a team player and have an eagerness to be involved in making decisions that will define the future for KBOO. KBOO Community Radio is a locally produced and volunteer driven non-commercial and full powered radio station emanating from Portland. KBOO's programming fills needs that other media do not. KBOO provides programming to unserved or underserved groups, and airs public affairs and music that may be unpopular, controversial, or neglected by mainstream media.
