The Market Manager works with market vendors, customers, volunteers, and the community. This requires an on-site presence at the market during all market hours (Wednesdays for approx. 21 weeks per year plus special events), as well as off-site work during non-market hours.

Required Skills and Abilities:The Market Manager is expected to have a thorough understanding of market policies, the mission and goals and be able to apply them to the work environment. The successful candidate will be an effective and diplomatic organizer with initiative, creativity, and an understanding of food security principles. Experience with public speaking and project and fiscal management preferred.
