Job Announcement: Community Energy Project Program Manager

ANNOUNCEMENT – Position Available

Community Energy Project (CEP) is recruiting for the position of In-Home Services Program Manager.

CEP is an independent nonprofit organization that provides interactive workshops on home weatherization, lead poisoning prevention and water conservation while providing direct services in these areas to seniors and people with disabilities. Our mission is to empower people to maintain healthier, more livable homes, control their utility costs, and conserve natural resources. We are an EEO employer.

COMPENSATION: This is a full-time, Salaried, Exempt position. $16-$18/hour ($33,280 – $37,440 annually), DOE; (1.0 FTE, exempt) paid sick and vacation; health insurance partially paid; 403(b) and other options available.

REPORTS TO   Executive Director

POSITION SUMMARY   

The In-Home Services Program Manager manages program operations and supervises employees for the In-Home Weatherization and Home Safety Repair programs. (S)he is responsible for assisting in the development of the department’s program, including researching and drafting grants. The Manager will also conduct program evaluation activities. The In-Home Services Manager is a member of the CEP Management Team, and is also active in assisting with organizational development and fundraising activities. The Manager presently provides direct service as needed and interacts with clients by telephone and as walk-ins; these duties will diminish as the program grows.

This employee acts as the organization’s licensed contractor with the Contractors and Construction Board (CCB), and will attain certification both as a lead risk assessor and as a duct sealing technician.

The In-Home Services Program Manager must be innovative and able to take initiative, while operating within the philosophy of CEP.
