SMART Volunteer Site Coordinator

Volunteer with SMART® (Start Making A Reader Today) in this exciting leadership role!

Support children’s literacy in your community and inspire a love of books and reading. SMART Site Coordinators are needed in public elementary schools in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties through May 2010 for a time commitment of 1-8 hours per week. Coordinators will receive in-depth training to train/support volunteer readers, work with school staff to schedule students and volunteers and provide program oversight during reading sessions. Lead a team of committed volunteers and make a significant contribution to your local school.

We will continue interviewing throughout the program year until all positions are filled.
