Seeking volunteer projects to do in a classroom

Do you need envelopes stuffed? Items organized or sorted? Encouraging letters written? Placements decorated?

I'm an intern teaching an elective class called "Make a Difference" to 8th graders at Metropolitan Learning Center in NW Portland. http://www.pps.k12.or.us/schools/mlc/ The class is designed to inspire kids to get involved in the community.

I'm looking to partner with local organizations who could use help from a group of 10 responsible middle school students. Our class meets on Thursdays from 2:10-3. If a project is bigger than one class period allows, we can work on it over the course of several weeks.
