Senior GAP Coordinator

Impact Northwest is a non-profit agency with a mission to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and to prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Senior GAP program.   ENTRY WAGE: $12.20 to $13.94/hrFull Time

LOCATION: Tigard and other Washington County sites JOB SUMMARY: Provides money management services to seniors and adults with disabilities. Coordinates volunteers in also providing those services to clients; performs outreach activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with the coordination, set-up, and implementation of client files; Assists with compiling monthly activities calendar and mailing list; Completes intake forms for new participants and case managed clients, as needed; Performs outreach strategies for reaching new clients and educating community partners; Assists volunteers in responding to client needs such as transportation services, resource delivery, client phone calls, mailing documentation, organizing client and resource files, etc.; Makes regular telephone contact with clients to complete satisfaction surveys, coordinate transportation, promote activities, and respond to client needs; Completes accurate, legible and timely documentation of services delivered in accordance with Impact NW’s information management system; Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Any combination of experience and training that would likely meet the following requirements Associate Degree Valid Oregon driver’s license and acceptable driving record (must comply with mandatory regulations); Minimum of six months’ experience working with frail, low-income seniors and/or adults with disabilities; Knowledge of issues and concerns relevant to seniors and adults with disabilities; Demonstrated computer skills (word processing/data entry) and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds; Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing; Bilingual in Spanish; Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and varied tasks; Ability and willingness to work as a team member and support Impact NW’s mission
