Certified Residential Green Appraiser (GRBA)

Spring course offering: April 8, 9 & 10, 2010

Course fee: $425

This intensive course provides an introduction to all phases of green residential construction, from proper siting of a home to finish material selection. Participants analyze valuation studies and cost data for residential projects, and engage in appraising green homes through case studies. There are no prerequisites for enrolling in CRGA; however, students seeking continuing education units or the CRGA professional designation, should be licensed appraisers in Oregon or Washington. Certification requires full attendance and successful completion of a written, closed-book examination with a passing grade of 75%.

Objectives: -Explain the history and practice of local green residential construction. -Analyze valuation studies and cost data for local residential projects. -Conduct an informed appraisal of a green home using real case studies.
