Education First Consulting is a national policy consulting firm that specializes in helping education policymakers, advocates and funders develop broad-based strategies that lead to great learning and achieving for our nation’s students.

Currently we are seeking to develop long-term relationships with experienced writing contractors who can help us with grant writing and funding proposals beginning in March.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the highest caliber of clarity, style and speed in their writing as well as experience with K-12 reform, postsecondary education, federal grant writing, and writing for funding foundations and non-profits. Candidates must also be able to integrate large amounts of data and feedback; translate policy proposals into clear and jargon-free language; and be able to “sell” a proposal through persuasive writing. Submission deadlines often require a willingness to work evenings and weekends.
