Description
Activity Aide Under the direction of the Supervisor/Instructor, perform various activities related to cultivating a world of success for people with disabilities.
1. Work one-on-one in various activities with individuals with disabilities. 2. Assist in the preparation of materials needed for activities. 3. Assist instructor in group activities. 4. Maintain a safe environment for individuals while on field trips of 1-3 hours in duration, including travel to and from the activity between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 5. Assist with the monitoring of clients to and from events and assure they remain with their group on outings. 6. Encourage and assist individuals to fully participate in the community activities. 7. Able to lift 5 lbs. minimum and occasionally lift and/or carry small equipment, materials and supplies. Frequent walking, standing, bending and stooping.
