Seeking Full-Time Program Coordinator for SCRAP

Full-Time Program Coordinator at SCRAP.  SCRAP is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to creative reuse.  Be on the ground floor of an exciting, innovative new program! 1.0  FTE with Benefits (which include Health Insurance, vacation accrual, holiday pay and monthly craft allowance) Reports to Executive Director

New Program Coordination (10 hrs/wk) ·            

Launch and administrative management of an innovative new program (10 hrs/wk)

o    Scheduling

o    Prospect calls

o    Data base management

o    Promotions – local calendars, e-lists, arts & environmental sites

o    Communications

o    Create promotional packets

·Administration (20 hrs or more/wk)

o    Communications

§  Website content management

§  Social Media management        

§  eBlast §  Events promotions §

  Maintain email list

o    Financial

§  Daily sales entry – QuickBooks/Excel

§  Creates reports

§  Maintains accounts receivable

§  Biweekly expenditure entry – QuickBooks

§  Work with accountant on monthly reconciliations

§  Prep for annual CPA review/audit

o    Membership

§  Maintain database

§  Send out reminders re: expiring memberships

§  Maintain supply of membership forms

o    Support

§  Back-up phone calls for store

§  Point of contact for workshops, fieldtrips, birthday parties, Camp SCRAP

§  Maintain general records and documentation

§  Maintain financial records

·Volunteer Coordination (10 hrs or less/wk)

o    Contact §  First person potential volunteer interacts with.

§  Takes inquiries

§  Determines best opportunity

§  Forwards retail volunteer applications to Retail Volunteer Coordinator

o    Maintains volunteer records.

§  Keeps stock of volunteer application forms available

§  Maintains notebook of active volunteers

§  Updates database

§  Updates Constant Contact active list

o    Solicits volunteers

§  Puts out calls for volunteers as needed

§  Monitors and ensures volunteer support for programs

o    Schedules and supervises volunteers for events.

o    Coordinates with Retail Volunteer Supervisor

Qualities Desired: ·         Commited to SCRAP’s mission. Reliable Exercises good judgment Flexible Positive Attitude Team spirit Maturity Commitment to Excellence Creative Thinking

P   Preferred skill set: 3-5 years of administrative experience Volunteer supervision experience Bookkeeping (QuickBooks preferred) Microsoft Suite - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Database (Salesforce.com preferred) Social Media forums - including (but not limited to) Facebook and Twitter Website (or Blog) content management (WordPress preferred) Nonprofit experience Exceptional communication skills Highly organized
