Volunteer Orientation with MIKE Program this Saturday!

MIKE Program is a local non-profit focused on reaching out to at-risk youth in our communities. We mentor and teach healthy behaviors, all the while promoting projects and accomplishments by the youth to encourage a sense of empowerment that ideally offers the youth opportunities to reach back to their communities and start a cascade of healthy living. We are looking for volunteers interested in public health and policy, mentoring, office help, writing, publicity, and so much more! We are hosting an informal volunteer orientation this Saturday, April 24th at MIKE Program Headquarters at St. Vincent's Medical Hospital on SW Barnes Rd. The orientation will start at 10AM and last less than a couple hours. Coffee and light snacks will be provided. Please RSVP to [email protected] for specific directions if you are interested.
