position summary:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a well-organized office which includes tracking and ordering office supplies, maintaining computers, the server, copiers, phones, all office equipment and office upkeep. • Assist the Executive Director and Grants Manager with office management and administrative duties as requested. • Work with the Executive Director and Bookkeeper to process agency bills, weekly deposits and monthly financial reports. Utilize QuickBooks to track expenses and revenue and produce reports as needed. • Maintain all financial, general office and vendor files. • Invoice accounts payable. • Assist the Program staff as needed. • Master the use of the client database and instruct all interns on basic data entry. • Recruit, train and supervise volunteer interns. • Provide customer service as needed when the front desk is not covered by volunteers.

Salary / Pay Rate:Compensation based on experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:● Bachelor’s degree. ● Professional experience in managing a busy office. ● High degree of organizational skills. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● Ability to work independently and take initiative. ● Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and IT skills to maintain the office network and computers. ● Professional experience working with diverse populations and volunteers in a non-profit organization. ● Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and meet deadlines. ● Enthusiastic approach to the mission of the agency and the customers we serve. ● Ability to maintain confidentiality about all client and agency financial matters.
