HOPE ON THE GROUND A community conversation in honor of World AIDS Orphans Day

When: Friday, May 7, 6-9pm Where: White Stag Building 70 NW Couch St. Portland, OR

Keynote Speaker: Anne-christine d'Adesky, AIDS and Gender Justice Activist, Journalist for World Pulse and Author.

Moderator: Charlene McGee, African Women's Coalition.

Panelists: Teresa Gipson, MD, Family Practice Medicine, OHSU; Founder, Ray of Hope International Doug Lyon, Director, Health Unit, Mercy Corps Kathleen Maloney-Dunn, JD, Adjunct Professor, International Human Rights Clinic Willamette University Law School; Former Visiting Professional, International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands

6-6:30pm: Expo and Information Fair. 25 locally-based international organizations will be on-site providing information, showcasing materials, and offering opportunities for involvement. 6:30-7:40pm: Presentations by panelists and keynote speaker. 7:40-9pm: Expo and Information Fair. Wine and light hors d'oeuvres.
