Part-time bookkeeper

Prichard Communications, a Portland-based public relations company that serves non-profits, public agencies, and philanthropies across the United States, is hiring a bookkeeper. This part-time contractor is responsible for tracking and maintaining financial records, and producing regular reports. The bookkeeper provides 20 hours of service per month and reports to Mac Prichard, owner of Prichard Communications.

Responsibilities:

• Balance bank account and reconcile QuickBooks monthly • Collect, file and pay all bills, including invoices from subcontractors • Track and reconcile expenses with invoices • Create, maintain, and update contract management spreadsheets for three to five contracts and the business as a whole • Prepare and send invoices by the 10th of every month. • Produce a monthly company financial report showing current revenues and expenses.

Salary / Pay Rate:$25-$35 Hourly Salary
Required Skills and Abilities:Excellent budget and financial management skills; ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities on tight deadlines; knowledge of MS Office Suite and QuickBooks.
Qualifications:Five to 10 years professional experience.
Education Required:College degree
