Volunteer opportunities with YEA Camp

Youth Empowered Action Camp is seeking volunteers for our program that builds skills, knowledge, confidence and community for 11-16 year olds who want to make a difference in the world.Our summer camp and mentorship program is new to portland and we're looking for people to get involved. If you have a passion for social and political activism and for working with youth, we want to connect with you!We're looking for volunteers in the following positions:-Publicity and outreach (hanging up flyers, talking to schools asking them to tell their families, posting our info to blogs, talking to organizations asking them to send out info about our camp, etc.)-Marketing-Development and fundraising-Curriculum development-Logistics for the camp-Soliciting in-kind donations (food, etc)-Tabling at local events If you are interested in any of the above, or want to get involved in some other way, please get in touch!
