Traditional advertising plummeted nearly 8% in 2009, yet marketing sponsorships with nonprofits held their own and are poised to jump 3% in 2010. In this online training, learn how well-crafted marketing sponsorship programs can deliver powerful results to both nonprofits of all sizes and their corporate partners.

 

We'll take a look at how three nonprofits landed dream sponsors by following the Essence of Sponsorship Model, developed by Sponsorship Network, and you'll gain an understanding of the real reasons most corporations reject nonprofit sponsorship proposals. Learn how to build value into your packages, zero-in on companies most likely to commit, and face your selling reality: Do internal turf wars stifle selling? Is your board truly supportive of sponsorship efforts? Find out how the new sponsorship model educates, inspires, and transforms conflicts once and for all.

 

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Barbara Harrington established Sponsorship Network with Randy Murray in 1992. As a founding partner, she has created and implemented ethical sponsorship programs for clients nationwide including: Fore Hope in Columbus, OH; The Hope Center in Lexington, KY; and The Love Ride with Jay Leno in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Barbara works closely with clients to create sponsorship programs that deliver results to the organization and well as drive sales for corporate decision makers. Her innovative benefits and accurate assessment of sponsorship values have lead to dramatic success for clients.

 

Barbara has published two sponsorship books, The Essence of Sponsorship and Advance Sponsorship Sales, that draw upon her vast sales and marketing experience. Prior to starting Sponsorship Network, Barbara worked as PR Manager and News Anchor.
