Organizational Background

The ReBuilding Center is the nation’s largest non-profit reuse center for salvaged construction and remodeling materials. Since 1998, The ReBuilding Center has diverted millions of pounds of reusable building materials from landfills to be reused locally. Two-hundred and fifty visitors come to The ReBuilding Center everyday to browse an inventory that changes every 15 minutes. In addition to the reuse center, The ReBuilding Center includes DeConstruction Services, an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional demolition, and ReFind Furniture, which offers a diverse line of sustainable furniture and home accessories from 100% salvaged materials.
