World Oceans Day, tomorrow

Event:  World Oceans Day | Come celebrate! | Tonight, June 8th at EcoTrust

When: Tuesday, June 8, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Where: EcoTrust Building, inside the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center, Billy J. Frank Conference Room | 721 NW 9th Ave, PDX.

What: Celebration of the cause with a FREE community event.  Keynote speaker is Kristofor Lofgren, owner and creator of Bamboo Sushi. 

Also happening: 6pm - 8pm: Sustainable sushi samples by Bamboo Sushi

Special WOD Voodoo Doughnuts “Blue” Artists showing their work

6:30pm: Our own local ocean visionaries talk about their work and how we can help protect our oceans

7:30pm – 8:00pm: An ocean movie – End of the Line! It is a free event celebrating the magnificence of the oceans, addressing the gravity of the events comprising the oceans health in every aspect, and celebrating the fact that we have the potential to be "ocean solutions."
