D.I.Y. Mead!

David Beer of Wingnut Confections and Missy Rohs of The Arctos School are teaming up for one of our best classes ever:

Making Medicinal & Delicious Meads Saturday, June 12th, 3pm-6pm

Mead – the decadent alcoholic beverage made with honey and yeast – has been consumed for thousands of years for both healing and pleasure. This hands-on class will walk you step-by-step through the mead-making process (with plenty of outstanding samples and scrumptious snacks along the way!). We’ll also learn the medicinal qualities of herbs that taste wonderful in meads. At the end of the class, you'll have the skills to make your own organic, locally-grown, herbally-infused mead at home, too!

Location: SE Portland Cost: $35-$45, sliding scale, to accommodate nonprofiteers and other low-budget folks. Registration required by June 10th – email missy -at- arctosschool.org.
