Full-time AmeriCorps Position with CPAH

Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH) is now hiring for a full-time OSSC AmeriCorps member to begin September 7th, 2010. The Youth and Community Involvement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the After School Program at Merlo Station Apartments in Beaverton. The Coordinator will collaborate with other Resident Services Staff to organize community activities and events, connect residents with local resources in their community, and assist at other programs in the Beaverton and Tigard area as needed.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, responsible, organized, enjoy working with diverse groups of people, have experience working with groups of children, and have strong communication skills. Candidates must be willing to travel between sites on a daily basis. Somali or Spanish language experience is a plus, though not required.
