| position summary: | I need a bright, talented Communications and Development Intern. You will be working with a well-respected, experienced Development and Communications Director with a track record of mentoring bright graduates to becoming experienced professionals. I need you to help to me with marketing and communications, special events and building awareness for a highly respected non-profit organization in Vancouver, Washington. |
| Salary / Pay Rate: | Internship |
| Required Skills and Abilities: | This position requires: excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills; comfort and ease in working with technology. Must be highly proficient at using MS Office software; and the ability to learn other office technology such as relational databases. |
| Qualifications: | College grad or communications student with experience and/or skills in communications, graphic design, event planning, fundraising, public relations and/or marketing, community or public relations activities or any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform job duties. |
