Pyramid Communications is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Portland, OR.

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) plays a major role on all projects, leading project teams and clients in the creation of high quality deliverables, on budget and on time. The SPM is responsible for all project management duties including day-to-day client relations, scoping and budgeting, project strategy and project tracking. The SPM contributes expertise and content to strategic communications deliverables including communications and strategic planning and implementation, interactive and web projects, facilitation and event services. The SPM may also contribute content and expertise to messaging, campaign strategy and print deliverables. The SPM leads complex medium and large sized projects with input and guidance from senior staff and manages multiple projects with support from one or more Project Managers and Associates. SPM should be knowledgeable of healthcare industry, policies and practices.

Salary / Pay Rate:This is an exempt position with the salary negotiable based on the successful applicant’s skills and experience. In addition to salary Pyramid offers a generous benefits package, including, medical, dental, paid leave and 401(k).
Required Skills and Abilities:• Project management background required • Knowledge of healthcare industry and policies • Ability to build strong, productive relationships with clients • Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets under tight deadlines • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills • Experience managing interactive and design projects • Strong teamwork, listening and client management skills • Ability to collaborate and cooperate with internal teams • Understanding of branding and messaging • Understanding of print production and web-based content management systems • Strong analytical skills • Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications:• Minimum five years of project leadership and project management experience • Demonstrated experience managing multiple competing interests, clients, or services. Agency experience preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in writing, English, journalism, communications or related field preferred
