Volunteers needed for the Great Slough Clean Up - July 10th!

Join the Columbia Slough Watershed Council and their trash haulers for the 4th Annual Great Slough Clean Up. Bring a boat or borrow one of the council's and scour the banks of the slough for garbage large and small. Remove car batteries, shopping carts, TVs, chairs, tires and more from this beautiful waterway in your backyard. The herons, otters and turtles will thank you. Prizes will be given for the most unique items of trash. Advance registration required.Please RSVP to Dana Kleinhesselink @ [email protected], and state whether or not you will be needing to borrow a boat from our fleet - We will have kayaks, single canoes and bimaran canoes for reservation.
