Next YWSE Event: July 6, at 6pm, with Jensine Larsen of World Pulse Media!

For all of you with an interest in international issues, women’s and girls’ empowerment, taking a venture from idea to full-blown success, and building a global career from right here in Portland, we have a special treat for our July YWSE meeting: a chance to hear from Jensine Larsen, internationally acclaimed speaker and founder of World Pulse Media. World Pulse, which is based here in Portland, connects readers to global issues through the eyes and pens of the world’s women and children, through its online community PulseWire as well as a print and online magazine.

Since founding the magazine at age 28, Jensine (Yen-see-nah) has met and worked with some of the world’s most inspiring women, and is excited to be bringing some of their stories to our event: stories of women who have overcome long odds to produce transformative change in their societies. Join us as we become inspired by their stories, by Jensine’s story, and by our own potential to create the change we wish to see.

Doors open at 5:45pm, event begins at 6:00 and ends at 7:00, with time to stay and mingle afterward

$5 donation to cover space and expenses can be paid at the door – please bring cash!
