4th Annual Great Slough Clean-Up!

Join the Columbia Slough Watershed Council for the 4th Annual Great Slough Clean-Up on Saturday, July 10th from 9:00am-12:00pm. Together we will work for the greater good of the Slough, local wildlife and the paddling community! We'll enjoy a morning paddle in search of litter large and small, and remove it from a two-mile stretch of the beautiful Columbia Slough. The herons, beavers, and turtles will thank you! 

This volunteer event is open to the public. Bring your friends, family and neighbors to this fun and unique clean-up party! Gloves, trash bags, and supplies will be provided. Refreshments will be available for all volunteers. Prizes will be awarded for the best piece(s) of Slough trash.

We'll meet at the Whitaker Ponds Nature Area Canoe Launch located at 7040 NE 47th Ave, Portland, OR 97218.
