Free Construction Labor for Your Non-Profit

Free Construction Labor for Your Non-Profit

As part of our Trades and Apprenticeship Career Class, Oregon Tradeswomen, a local non-profit, provides free classroom instruction, field trips and hands-on training for women to help prepare them for living wage careers in the construction trades and new green economy.

In order to train our women, we offer free construction labor for non-profits in Multnomah County. Example projects include bookshelves, kiosks, building/sheetrocking walls and more.

We work up to two days a week as the other days are spent in the classroom and on field trips as part of our training.

Be aware that we are a training agent and not a general contractor so we ask that you set up the project yourself including design, purchase and delivery of materials, etc.

We can save your organization thousands of dollars in construction labor if you are a good fit!

Please contact [email protected] to find out criteria for projects and how your project can be considered for August 2010.

Thank you!
