| position summary: | Finance and Operations Officer will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, presenting and implementing activities related to the school's daily operations, budget, debt management, accounting, strategic planning, and risk management. Working with the Head of School to foster volunteer stewardhip of the facility amongst parents and friends of school. This position reports directly to Head of School. |

| Required Skills and Abilities: | The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can provide strong and innovative finance and organization leadership. The successful candidate will bring a customer service orientation to the work, and will have a collaborative management style that fosters teamwork. He or she will have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical skills. Prefer candidates with some school budget, operations experience. Familiarity with Waldorf Education Theory and practice a plus.
