Multnomah County is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to serve as a member of the County Chair’s executive team. The position of Chief Diversity and Equity Officer (CDEO) is a new position. The CDEO will play a key role in organizational strategic development, decision making, priority setting and county policy development and implementation.

Salary / Pay Rate:$78,905 - $118,358, annually
Required Skills and Abilities:Experience: Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in increasingly responsible diversity and equity work, employee and community engagement, equal opportunity and affirmative action arenas, including a minimum of two (2) years of supervising staff; AND, Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
