Solar Oregon Goal Net Zero Lecture

Solar Oregon's Goal Net Zero (GNZ) discussions are a great follow up for anyone that has attended a past GNZ tour or just wanting to learn more about net zero concepts, design and building science. The second of a three part lecture series, Passive Haus/Solar Haus, will be on Wednesday, July 21.

This presentation will concentrate on retrofitting existing homes for passive solar. There will also be time for discussing other methods for lowering home energy use. Kathryn Gray will be leading the discussion. She is an urban planner, designer, UrbanSun passive solar home design business owner, and net zero homeowner. Her years of experience designing systems throughout the northwest will provide the group with proven techniques for building with solar and retrofitting Oregon homes with GNZ goals in mind.

The meeting will be from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Basement Lecture Room of the Heritage Building, 3934 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland, Oregon, 97214.

Registration is limited.
