Volunteer for Impact NW at SHINE Summer School!

Volunteer with the Summer SHINE School Program at Barnes Elementary School in Beaverton and play games, kick the soccer ball around, dig in the dirt and get paint on your fingers while having fun with kids!

 

Summer School Dates~ July 26 – August 19

 

Days~ Monday- Thursday

 

Times~ 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

 

Info~ You may volunteer one day, or as many days per week, as fits your schedule. All volunteers must complete a SHINE application and consent to a background check.

 

Address~ Barnes Elementary School: 13730 SW Walker Road Beaverton, OR 97005. Barnes is located on Walker Road between Cedar Hills and Murray.

 

Barnes Impact Community School is seeking individuals to volunteer in the classroom with students (and their teachers) in grades 1st-5th in the “SHINE” summer school program. At the SHINE summer school program we prioritize the enrichment and empowerment of our children and community, and honor diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.

 

Impact Northwest is a social service organization whose mission is to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and to prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty. Last year Portland Impact served over 70,000 infants, youth, families, adults with disabilities and seniors throughout Multnomah County.
