| position summary: | The Volunteer Coordinator will develop volunteer position descriptions, recruit, screen, monitor, place, support and celebrate success of volunteers including and especially in the integrative aspects of youth programming and community relations. |
| Salary / Pay Rate: | Benefits include a $5,350 education award upon completion for future tuition or payment on qualified student loans (taxed), a living allowance of $11,800 for 11 months (before taxes), loan forbearance on qualified federal student loans, basic healthcare coverage and childcare assistance (if household income qualifies). |

| Qualifications: | Independent, creative, self-motivated individual who enjoys working with diverse groups of people. 1.Experience and/or desire to work with teens and young adults 2.Interest in recruiting and supporting volunteers 3.Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills 4.Experience with web, social marketing tools (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace) 5.Experience with common office computer applications 6.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends 7.Valid drivers license, good driving record, and own transportation 8.A bachelors degree is preferred |
