Volunteer to be on the Family Selection Committee with Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East!

The goal of the Family Selection Committee is to identify and recommend the most qualified applicants to the Board of Directors for approval to become Habitat homeowners. During the three month selection process, volunteers will be needed to assist with application meetings, review the applications, complete home visits and identify the most qualified families and individuals for Board approval. We are looking for volunteers that can be available some evenings and weekends between September and December 2010. This is a rewarding volunteer experience for people with strong interpersonal skills and an interest in working with low-income families from diverse backgrounds. Bilingual is a plus.
