position summary:

The Annual Giving Program Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, and effective management of the Annual Fund (unrestricted and Auction proceeds). This position supervises the Annual Giving Officer and Auction coordinator. Independent creative work coordinated with all development activities. Complexity of work dictated primarily through recruitment of volunteers and working with volunteers.

Salary / Pay Rate:$45,000-58,000 DOE
Required Skills and Abilities:Ability to think creatively and critically. Self-starter, works independently, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting critical deadlines. Excellence in written and verbal communication. Attention to detail a must.
Qualifications:BA or BS from an accredited college or university. At least three years experience in fund-raising programs or campaigns. Background in working with Board members and volunteer leadership, prospect cultivation, recruitment, training, and management. Experience with direct mail campaigns, including expertise in drafting solicitation materials. Computer proficiency required, including knowledge of Windows 9x, Microsoft Word, and database programs. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge helpful. Publications and printing experience helpful.
