Volunteer at the PDX Habitat for Humanity

The Portland Metro Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit organization that resells re-usable building materials and supplies. All materials in our 20,000+ square foot warehouse are donated. Our inventory is extensive, and includes appliances, doors, windows, plumbing, electrical, all types of flooring, lumber and paint/stain. The proceeds go toward building simple, decent and affordable housing for low-income families.

The ReStore is now seeking volunteer office help Tuesday-Saturday, 9-5pm. 4 hour shifts (9-1 or 1-5pm) are available any of these days. This volunteer opportunity will consist of, but is not limited to: data entry, answering phones, learning the ReStore’s donation criteria to better assist donors and customers, and maintaining the overall organization of the office.

ReStore volunteers are expected to be courteous and professional, to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and to be good overall representatives for our organization.
