Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) seeks a dynamic and experienced educator to serve as Education Program Manager. The position will be based in NE Portland Offices and will oversee programs and staff for PPCW service area. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage the Education Programs for youth, families, professional providers and communities, and other agency education focused projects. This entails developing strategic program plans, assuring strong program quality that includes best practices, cultural relevancy, and key indicators for success, effective monitoring and evaluation, strong capacity building technical assistance to our partners, and continuous learning from the field to inform program and process • Oversee and mentor the Education Coordinators, interns, consultants, and volunteers • Build strategic partnerships in the community to assure service goals are met and development of additional education programs • Develop and deliver trainings for professionals working with young people to enhance their facilitation skills and knowledge • Assist with development and monitoring of the budget, and assures that the program’s goals are met within budget • Assist the VP of Education to increase funding to support expanded education programs • Promote a results-oriented culture that values innovation and continuous learning and improvement • Promote an organizational culture that embraces diversity as a core value

Salary / Pay Rate:$43000.DOE, MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION, 403B, STD/LTD/LIFE INSURANCE, DISCOUNTED PET INSURANCE
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience educating youth and adults required, as well as two years of staff management and overall professional experience in program design, management and evaluation. Position requires exposure to positive youth development programs and a demonstrated commitment to this philosophy. Preferably the candidate will have experience in sexual and reproductive health education programs. Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining partnerships and collaborations and in building new programs and expanding existing ones is expected. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
