De Paul Treatment Centers - Maintenance Worker

De Paul serves the greater Portland community by providing drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform basic maintenance and repair, painting, moving of furniture, sheetrock repair, replace wall fixtures and toilettes, etc. at a 7 story apartment building in downtown Portland. Applicants should be able to identify and perform basic assessment of maintenance problems, with good problem-solving skills being essential. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and carpentry required. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. This is a physically-intensive position requiring the ability to walk up and down stairs frequently and lifting/moving desks and furniture up to 75lbs while doing so. Applicants must also be able to work on a stepladder. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Position requires 2+ years’ continuous sobriety, if recovering.
